Frequently asked questions
What is vibecoding?
Vibecoding means building applications (SaaS, mobile app, website) using AI as the main development tool. You describe what you want to a tool like Cursor, Lovable or Bolt, and the AI generates the code for you. It allows non-technical founders to build real products without knowing how to code. But be careful: vibecoding doesn't mean the product is solid. That's why audits exist.
What is an AI app audit?
It's a complete analysis of your application across 3 areas: security, reliability and user experience. You get a score out of 100, a clear diagnosis of what works and what doesn't, and a concrete action plan to fix problems before launch. It's particularly useful if you vibecoded your app or if you work with a contractor and want to verify the quality of the work.
I have a product idea but I'm not technical. Where do I start?
Start by framing your project: who is your user, what problem are you solving, how will you make money. Then you have two options: either you vibecode it yourself with the right tools and good framing, or you bring in someone to build it. Either way, I can help. The vibecoding guide is a good starting point if you want to understand the basics before diving in.
What's the difference between vibecoding yourself and hiring a developer?
Vibecoding yourself gives you total control and costs much less. But you risk building something fragile if you don't have the right instincts. Hiring a developer (or an agency like AJ Ventures) costs more but you get a solid, scalable and maintainable product. The right choice depends on the complexity of your project and your budget. For a simple MVP, vibecoding can be enough. For a complex product with paying users, technical support is often necessary.
How much does an audit cost?
The price depends on the size and complexity of your application. Contact me directly to discuss and get a quote tailored to your project.
What tools do you work with?
Vibecoding side: Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0. Tech stack side: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, Stripe, Vercel. AI side: OpenAI API, Claude API, LLM integration in products. But the tool is never the starting point. The starting point is always the problem to solve.
What is AJ Ventures?
AJ Ventures is my builder collective. When a project goes beyond the scope of a solo builder, I mobilize my team to handle the full development: scoping, architecture, development, deployment. We mainly work with non-technical founders on SaaS, mobile app and platform projects.
